Other usages for the sensors

Hello,

I was just thinking about how I can let my kids use those sensors by strapping them to their hands instead of the drum sticks.
But then another idea came to mind, you see, my daughter was born prematurely and we do a lot of physiotherapy with her.
Especially for her left hand, and I was thinking we can probably use those sensors for physiotherapy too.

Let say that we can develop some app that will use the sensor to track the hand movements (or feet) and encourage the user to move the arm of feet in certain direction by some kind of game play, this will help for many users.

I know this is far from the original idea, but I don’t think it’s too difficult to achieve.

What do you guys think?

Sounds like a cool idea. The Sensors though, are not aware of where in space they are. They can only measure angles.
You can get all the data you need, including the angles using midi. Take a look there:
